Role:

 Under supervision by the SR Programmer Analyst. ensures the daily successful operations of the financial core processing system (currently Episys), optical and LOS/AOS systems & other related critical systems; collaborates with staff to produce needed reports or parameter changes outside of the duties of the PMO team. Adheres to all policies, procedures and standard practices of the organization as well as state and federal laws/regulations.

 Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

 

E 80% Writes programs that provide information of the core processing system to staff as requested. Modifying symform files as directed. Changes values within the core processing system to produce results requested or approved by executive staff. Works with core processing vendor for system changes as dictated by special projects or system developments. Responsible for the routine updates of the Core processing system & related critical systems such as AOS/LOS, Optical, Image Center, etc.

E 10% Participates in meetings pertaining to special projects to assess changes necessary to the core processing system.

E 5% Ensures successful completion of the daily processing of system activities by the core processing system and related systems such as E-statements, LOS/AOS processing, optical and other directly related systems. .

N 5% Other duties as assigned

 

Performance Measurements:

 

1. Ensures the on-time processing of core application activities.

2. Keeps the SR Programmer Analyst, and effected operational areas, informed of data processing service interruptions. Keeps all service interruptions to a minimum and schedules all system changes, maintenance and down time outside of normal business hours.

3. Maintains a professional work environment and team oriented attitude.

4. Employee shall demonstrate an understanding of, and follow the requirements of all regulation compliance, including but not limited to those of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA), Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC), Customer Identification Program (CIP) and Member Due Diligence (MDD) as it specifically relates to their job functions. Employee shall be trained annually in BSA/AML compliance.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

 

Experience: Five years to eight years of similar or related experience. A minimum of two years of programming experience required.

Education: (1) A two-year college degree, or (2) completion of a specialized certification or licensing, or (3) completion of specialized training courses conducted by vendors, or (4) job-specific skills acquired through an apprenticeship program.

 Interpersonal Skills: Work involves much personal contact with others inside and/or outside the organization for the purpose of first-level conflict resolution, building relationships, and soliciting cooperation. Discussions involve a higher degree of confidentiality and discretion, requiring diplomacy and tact in communication.

 Physical Requirements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use hands or fingers, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, and sit. Specific vision abilities required of this job include close vision and ability to adjust focus

 Work Environment: Work is performed indoors with some potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to electronics work. May require periodic travel. There is exposure to potential hazardous conditions such as robbery. Employees are to receive detailed instructions and procedures to follow in order to minimize risk.
